Phoenix 2nd Birthday!!!

2 years ago I went in to the hospital to have baby Phoenix flipped because she was breached.  Little did I know that I would have a c-section that afternoon and be able to cradle my little baby girl that night.  Life definitely comes at you fast.  Now Phoenix is running around telling me what to do.  This last month has really hit me that she is getting old when we had to put her in a toddler bed because she learned how to crawl out of her crib.  Phoenix is all personality and her favorite thing to do is sing songs as fast as she can (especially ABC's and Ring Around the Rosies) and cook and clean with mom.

The Last 2 Years....

 Phoenix's Birthday Pictures

We had Phoenix's birthday party a week early because my parents decided to drive up from Texas for a day.  I think Phoenix's favorite part was cutting cake for everyone!  On her real birthday We took her to Kangaroo Zoo and then to Cabella's for Buffalo Burgers, shooting, and fish feeding.  This kid can still pick out a pronghorn from the mountain of animals.

Last but not least our little Angel Eva.....

Oh and it's official I have gone live....

Baby Blessing

Sampson's family came to spend Christmas with us and Phoenix loved having so many people in the house and all of the attention she was getting.  My dad was able to get a trip to SLC and within the 16 hours he was here he was able to come down to Provo to be apart of Eva's baby blessing.  On December 22, 2010 we had the blessing at our house and it was so great to have so much family there.

Before everyone got here I rushed to finish making Eva's Blessing dress so Kenny could take pictures of us because I knew it would be crazy on the blessing day.

Pictures of Eva that I took a few weeks after she was born.

Eva Jewell

Eva Jewell Hitchcock
November 15, 2010

After a crazy week of waiting to see if I was going to have a VBAC we decided to go ahead and schedule a C-section on the 15th (my official due date).  The Friday before we went into the hospital, thinking I was in labor, only to be sent home. I spent all Sunday having contractions.  Even though I was constantly urged by mom to go into the hospital because of her strong desire for me not to have another c-section.  But I was not about to go into the hospital for the second time and be sent home because I wasn't dilated far enough.  At about 2:00 am I couldn't take the contractions any more so we went in.  I was only dilated to a 3, but they called my Dr. and ordered my epidural...one way or another the baby was coming.  After having little to no change in about 6 hours, I was all of sudden was at a 10!!  Within 22 minutes of pushing Eva Jewell was born at 9:52 am.  She was 6 lbs. 14 oz. and 19 inches long.  We are so excited to welcome this beautiful little girl into this world especially without another C-section!!
