2 Years and Counting......

The Engagement
After about 6 months of dating, one Sunday afternoon, Sampson drove me down to the Manti Temple and proposed to me. That was one of many unforgettable days that Sampson and I have shared together.

Our Wedding Day
August 21, 2007

Three days before we got married our families arrived in Oahu. We played on the beach, visited Pearl Harbor, and were entertained at the Polynesian Culture Center. The day of was perfect...the sun was out and you could feel the cool breeze coming in from the ocean. It is one of the greatest days we've had together.

Hanalei Bay - We kayaked about a 1/2 mile out and swam with sea turtles. It was absolutely amazing...too bad we didn't have a water camera.

First Camping Trip

Maple Canyon

Lately we have been rock climbing at the Quarry and Rock Canyon. This last weekend we camped down at Maple Canyon to go rock climbing. This was our first time to try lead climbing...that was scary! Phoenix stayed super warm in her pink fleece bag...she looked like a marshmallow peep. She thoroughly enjoyed being out in the elements and I thoroughly enjoyed my fat New York strip steak that I cooked on the coleman!! If you look closely my steak is cooking :)

Phoenix looked so cute at church this last Sunday. She not only was rockin' the pony tail, but she had the cutest boat shoes on ever!!
